Brittany Norwood describes why she allegedly bludgeoned a coworker at Lululemon to death. She’d originally claimed that two men broke in and raped them. Seriously, this story is insanely fascinating. Murder in the land of expensive yoga pants. (via washingtonpoststyle)
I actually went to high school with Jayna back in Arizona. The more details that emerge from this only make it harder to process. Unbelievably sad…
Last night Meaux suggested we try an affogato at Pitango Gelato on P Street. Espresso with a scoop of almond gelato… amazing.
And then this morning I wake up to find that LivingSocial’s daily deal is for Pitango! Perfect timing…

So, I thought it was cool when I got interviewed for the paper last week about the “Now, I elevate” guy, but then Meaux had to go get on the cover of a magazine…

Apparently, my pic of the Roland Washington “Now, I elevate” quote has made it all over the internet.
Yesterday, I got interviewed by a nice reporter at the Washington Post for a follow-up article they are doing on Roland’s newfound popularity. The reporter said they are looking to track down Roland, but have been unsuccessful thus far. So, if anybody sees Roland elevating around DC, let him know the Post is trying to get in touch!
priskizzle asked: I wish I had something cool to ask you but I'm just too excited to find a fellow non-DC native living in DC. Thanks for following our apartment blog, maybe we'll cross paths someday? Until then, I will continue to distract myself at work with your blog (awesome pictures, btw).
That’s alright, I’m sure you will think of something. ;)
And it’s good to see that Tumblr is destroying your productivity. You are not alone…
